A symphony in greys; simple, graphic plant silhouettes and shadows. A central yellow archangel seedhead dissects the panel, a ‘no no’ in painting but works on this piece. 

Printed using yellow archangel, woodruff, bracken, cinquefoil, cottonsedge, and mare’s tail. 

Handprinted onto a thick matt duchess satin and stretched on a wooden frame. The raw edges on the reverse are sealed beneath a ribbon. The plants used are notated on the frame, beside the signature and title.

2008, 50 x 25 x 4.5 cm, with a hanging system in place.
