A showstopper at Origin Craft Fair, I kept the original (this one) and took orders. A series of alliums and their shadows in greys, plums and olives, you see something different each time you look. A piece from my personal archive.

Plants used are alliums, clematis seedheads, wild carrot, polypody and silver leaf.

Handprinted onto a thick matt duchess satin and stretched on a wooden frame. The raw edges on the reverse are sealed beneath a ribbon. The plants used are notated on the frame, between the signature and title.

2006, 60 x 40 x 6.5, with a hanging system in place.
